Het Laatste Nieuws (in English The Latest News) is a Dutch language newspaper based in Brussels, Belgium.

It was founded by Julius Hoste Sr.

on 7 June 1888.

It is now part of De Persgroep, and is the most popular newspaper in Flanders and Belgium.

FunX is a Dutch public radio station which has been on air since 3 August 2002.

Hip hop is a subculture and art movement developed by African-Americans from the South Bronx in New York City in the late 1970s.

While people unfamiliar with hip hop culture sometimes use the expression "hip hop" to refer exclusively to hip hop music, hip hop is characterized by anywhere from four to nine distinct elements or expressive realms, of which hip hop music is only one element.

The main four are MCing/rapping (orality), turntablism or DJing (aural/sound practice), b-boying/breakdancing (movement/dance), and graffiti art (visual).

Other elements often cited are hip hop culture and historical knowledge (intellectual/philosophical), beatboxing, street entrepreneurship, African-American language, and hip hop fashion, among others.

The cultural critic Greg Tate described the hip hop movement as "the only avant-garde still around, still delivering the shock of the new, and its got a shockable bourgeoisie, to boot." Even as the genre continues to develop globally in myriad styles, the four foundational elements provide coherence to hip hop culture.

The term is often used as if synonymous with the rhymed oral tradition known as rap music.
