Navratri (literally "nine nights"), also spelled Navaratri or Navarathri, is a multi-day Hindu festival celebrated in the autumn every year.

It is observed for different reasons and celebrated differently in various parts of the Indian subcontinent.

Theoretically, there are four seasonal Navratri.

However, in practice, it is the post-monsoon autumn festival called Sharad Navratri that is the most observed in the honor of the divine feminine Devi (Durga).

Holi (Holī) is a Hindu spring festival celebrated in India and Nepal, also known as the "festival of colours" or the "festival of love".

It is also celebrated as a thanksgiving for a good harvest.

It lasts for a night and a day, starting on the evening of the Purnima (Full Moon day) falling in the Vikram Samvat Hindu Calendar month of Phalgun, which falls somewhere between the end of February and the middle of March in the Gregorian calendar.

The first evening is known as Holika Dahan or Chhoti Holi and the following day as Holi, Rangwali Holi, Dhuleti, Dhulandi, or Phagwah.

The Chhath Puja is dedicated to the Sun and his wife Usha in order to thank them for bestowing the bounties of life on earth and to request the granting of certain wishes.

Bhojpuri (Devanagari: भोजपुरी) is an Indo-Aryan language spoken in the Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and Jharkhand region of North India and in Terai region of Nepal.
