The Surfrider Foundation USA is a U.S. 501(c)(3) grassroots non-profit environmental organization that works to protect and preserve the world's oceans, waves and beaches.

The Surfrider Foundation largely focuses its work on such issues as water quality, beach access, beach and surf spot preservation, and sustaining marine and coastal ecosystems.

Where more secure dwellings are not available, people may live in the informal and sometimes illegal shacks found in slums and shanty towns.

More generally, "home" may be considered to be a geographic area, such as a town, village, suburb, city, or country.

It is typically outdoors.

While a playground is usually designed for children, some target other age groups.
